portrait  A document layout in which the height is greater than the width. (the opposite of Landscape) Trim marks Marks placed on the printed sheet to indicate where cuts should be made. Digital Proof Colour separation data is digitally stored and then exposed to colour photographic paper creating a picture of the final product before it is actually printed with ink. Airbrush A compressed air tool that sprays a fine mist of paint or ink, used in illustration and photo retouching. Layout A rendition that shows the placement of all the elements, images, thumbnails etc., of a final printed piece. Embossing The molding and reshaping of paper by the use of special metal dies and heat, counter dies and pressure, to produce a raised image on the paper surface. target audience  the specific audience as to which you are writing for; aiming your language and stereotypes at that specific group of people. artwork: Any portion of a published piece that is not text. blurb: A short quote or announcement. cover: The front outside page of a magazine. Also refered to as Cover 1. genre: A category of a certain type of writing, such as horror, romance, mystery, science fiction, and so forth. page layout: The assembly of the elements on a page, including text and graphics. Also called page composition or page makeup. masthead: the main title of the magazine, this can be any font which is best suited to the genre of the magazine left third: this is where all the main information is displayed, this can be price, issue date, and information on the magazine. price: this is how much magazine cost, the price can vary from the genres, popularity of the magazine and the target audience. plugs: this is the additional information that is displayed with the puff. it is the information that is read after the audience is attracted to the magazine. puffs: the puff is the image or images that surround the plug; it's the image that attracts the attention in the beginning.

Things you can do with blogger:

1. you can post text, photos and videos

2. you can change the fonts, bold or italicise pieces of text

3. you can go further by editing the HTML if you want to change the layout completely

4. you can change the URL on blog*spot

5. you can earn money by posting high quality original content on your favourite topics

6. you can develop your community by letting your readers follow your blog by adding the followers gadget to your layout

7.  people can give you useful feedback by leaving comments your your blog

8. you can create pages that link to your blog such as 'contact me' page that includes your contact details.

9. you can do 'group blogs' by creating a post and multiple people are enabled to contribute to that single blog

10. you can even blog on the go. you can blog by your phone or a secret email to blogger address. with these features, you can blog from where you are, whenever you are

How i think blogger will be useful for my coursework

i think blogger will be very useful in presenting my coursework as you can post a blog by phone and email too. this loosens the stress of getting something on my blog by a certain time; i can just simply update it wherever i am.
